FEATURES OF THE GENERATION OF HIGHER HARMONICS IN ELECTRICAL NETWORKS

Abstract
At modern development technologies of power electronics becomes real every possible conversion of electrical energy in the power load from a few watts to tens of megawatts of power switches using thyristors, IGBT and MOSFET-transistors with switching frequencies up to a few tens of kilohertz. The share of such devices is growing steadily. Their feature is non-sinusoidal current demand, and hence the generation of higher harmonics. The article examines the impact on consumers of harmonic currents in the presence of a chain nesinusidalnogo source voltage from the network and consumer non-sinusoidal current.
