Abstract
Electric and hybrid automobiles have power nets with two levels of voltage for heavy and light loads.
DC converters are used as auxiliary power supply to step down a higher voltage for light loads.
The article offers a method of characterization of auxiliary power supply using standard driving cycles.
There is an example of characterization of auxiliary power with buffer battery in the article.
