Abstract
This article is devoted to the research of the influence of gap in the cutting pair on the energy consumption of the chopping process of leafy feed. In this article the author based upon the data obtained from the experimental research. By the results of an experimental research the author have obtained the functional dependence of the energy consumption of the chopping process on gap in the cutting pair.
