Abstract
This article is devoted to search of solutions of an actual problem of studying and an as-sessment of collection samples of summer barley in the most important economic and biological signs of studying of reaction in the conditions of the South of the Rostov region. The conducted research allows to define the most perspective and fruitful material of summer barley for use him in selection in these climatic conditions.
