Abstract
The article describes simulation methods to predict the ecological processes and systems. The most optimal according to the authors advocate techniques: system dynamics and agent-based modeling. The possibility of implementation of the model "predator - prey" by each of the designated modeling techniques in software product AnyLogic 7.3.6 PLE.
