Abstract
In this paper the theory and practice of energy efficiency of ore processing are discussed. On the basis of extensive experimental data conclusive explanation of material differences between the technological power consumption (energy consumption during operation of the mill) and physically necessary and sufficient level of fracture energy of grinded ores and minerals is given. The main principles of creating new devices with adequate power consumption during ore destruction are presented.
