Abstract
Currently, due to the continuing cancellation of suburban trains are a number of populated areas remains the without the suburban traffic. The article analyzes the most problematic (in terms of market development of passenger traffic) railway sections of the Voronezh region, carried out a study of mutual location of roads and railways, as well as the conclusion about the possibility of use for passenger traffic in these areas of road-rail vehicles.
