Abstract
In this article the kinetic characteristics of ionic mercury sorption on ferromanganese nodules (FMN) as a scientific rationale for the use of FMN, the reaction rate constants at different temperatures, the apparent activation energy of the process. The ion exchange process is described by the kinetic equation of the first order and is limited to external diffusion.
